Start with clean, dry, detangled hair. Clip away all but one small section, then glide the trimmer down that section. It trims the damaged tips as you go, and you can watch it happen through the clear chamber. Repeat, section by section.
Will it cut off my length?
It's designed to take off the damaged tips as you glide it through a small section, rather than inches of hair. Work slowly, in small sections, for the best control.
Does it work on curly or thick hair?
It's used section by section, so it can be used on straight, wavy or curly hair. Curly and thicker hair just needs smaller sections and a little more patience.
How often should I use it?
A good rhythm for many customers is about once a month, or whenever your ends need a touch-up.
Is it a replacement for a haircut?
It's made for tidying damaged tips between salon visits. If you want a new shape, or your hair is heavily damaged, a stylist is still your best bet.
